Murphy was an owner surrender due to her owner's terminal illness, which is a heartbreaking situation for both the pet and the previous owner. This transition has not been easy for Murphy, as she suffers from Cushing's disease, a condition that affects her hormone levels and requires daily medication to help improve her overall health and well-being. With proper treatment, there is hope for her to lead a more comfortable life.  Despite her challenges, Murphy has shown remarkable resilience. Upon arriving at her new home, she immediately formed a bond with Snoop the donkey. Their friendship blossomed quickly, and they have become inseparable companions.
